Davao City is gearing up for an electrifying week of volleyball action as the City Mayor’s Office, in partnership with The Royal Mandaya Hotel, officially announced the much-anticipated Davao Invitational Volleyball Tournament.
The four-day sporting spectacle is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 7, 2025, at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) Gym in Obrero, running daily from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free, giving sports fans in the region a rare opportunity to witness top-tier volleyball without cost.

Headlining the tournament are four powerhouse squads representing both collegiate and professional volleyball: the College of Saint Benilde Lady Blazers, De La Salle University Lady Spikers, Farm Fresh Foxies, and the ZUS Thunderbelles.
Organizers promise an action-packed competition featuring intense rallies, thunderous spikes, and standout performances from some of the nation’s most exciting athletes. Local fans are encouraged to flock to the gym and show their support as these teams battle for supremacy in the heart of Davao.
